Leading Light Labradors

Leading Light Labradors is a family-owned, hobby breeder of AKC English style Labrador retrievers. The health and well-being of our dogs is paramount and all dogs are registered by the AKC and have passed their clearances (We do OFA on hips and elbows, heart, CERF, PRA, NARC, EIC, and CNM). We love the Labrador breed and love raising Labradors specifically for therapy, assistance, and people with disabilities as well as for family pets. Our dogs come out of championship lines to ensure we are producing the healthiest pets possible. Our program strives to produce Labradors that are healthy, smart, and have exceptionally sweet temperaments. 

 

We are an intentionally small program. All of our dogs live in our home and are raised as part of our family (we have no outdoor kennels). We live in coastal Fairfield County, Connecticut and whenever possible, our dogs run and chase balls on the beach and hike on our favorite trails with us. We are also avidly involved with training, rally, and obedience trials.
